October 2025- 2025/2026 academic year
At St. Albans International School, environmental stewardship is more than a lesson — it’s a way of life. In line with this term’s theme of ‘Collaboration’, we have partnered with the Forestry Commission of Ghana to undertake the maiden edition of our The Green Guardians Project.
As part of this initiative, pupils from Grade 5 and above volunteer three times a week at the Forestry Commission’s nursery department, where they help nurture young tree seedlings and learn first-hand about forest conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable practices.
Through the Green Guardians Project, our future leaders are taking an active role in protecting and preserving our planet.
The project encourages learners to develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment while gaining practical experience in community service. We are proud of the hard work our learners have put into the project so far. By getting their hands in the soil and contributing to reforestation efforts, our Green Guardians are growing not just trees — but a greener, more conscious generation.
The future is green!
