This summer, a group of excited pupils from St. Albans International School embarked on an unforgettable educational trip to London, Bath, and St. Albans — three of England’s most historic and inspiring cities.
Their journey started in the beautiful city of Bath, where they engaged in summer school with children from around the world. In addition to learning, our pupils got to admire landmarks such as the Bath Abbey, University of Bath and the city’s stunning Georgian architecture. A 3D cinema experience in Odeon,Bath was possibly one of their favourite activities.
In London, they explored iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Chelsea Stadium, soaking in the rich blend of history and modern culture.
There was also lots of fun to be had! Our learners spent time ‘adding to their carts’ in Oxford Circus and bouncing around in ‘Flip Out’, an indoor games and play centre.
The trip also included a day trip to St. Albans, a city filled with charm and heritage, where our pupils visited the city centre, the Clock Tower and the St. Albans Museum.
Just when we thought the trip was over, an impromptu flight cancellation granted our pupils an extra day in London, where they spent time relaxing in a hotel and eating some of their favourite things.
Trips like this are more than just sightseeing — they are a chance for learners to experience history, culture, and geography first-hand. Travelling together also builds confidence, independence, and friendships that last a lifetime.
As we reflect on the memories made, we look forward to our next adventure, where even more pupils will have the opportunity to discover new places, cultures, and ideas — continuing our mission to make the world our classroom.
